Winter Wonderland

I've been avoiding this place for a while now. For some reason I don't love this blog and I got tired of it before I even really got started. But tonight I found myself in bed, trying desperately to fall asleep but failing miserably, and I suddenly got the urge to write. I know I usually write in Swedish here, but honestly it doesn't make any sense to write a post in Swedish with an English translation in the bottom when everyone in Sweden can read English perfectly well.

The first term of my MA ended on Friday, after weeks of hard work. I can't believe it's almost Christmas. Time has gone by so fast and because I've only been focused on uni work these past weeks I haven't exactly felt the holiday cheer. But today I went to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland with a few of my friends. There were roller coasters, mulled wine and lots of people everywhere and I loved it. We went on this one crazy ride where I was sure I was going to die. It was amazing.

I took this photo when I was waiting outside of the tube station near Hyde Park. The sky was on fire, it was so beautiful! Way more beautiful than this horrible cellphone picture could ever show.

I'm heading back to bed now, I have a busy day of sightseeing ahead of me tomorrow. I don't know what's going to happen to this blog. I might start fresh with a new one or I might sum up the best parts of the past weeks using pictures from my Instagram and try to actually get into this blogging thing from now on. Time will tell.
